A fun(ny) poem I wrote. Enjoy :)
----------
You said,
You taste like saliva.
I said,
Let’s change that aroma.
I pulled a strip out.
It was thin and green;
Designed to melt on the tongue.
Yet the taste was not a pleasant thing.
Strong. Over powering indeed.
But the need for some fresh was greater to heed.
I looked down
The pack was all finished up;
The last in your mouth
Causing your breath to smell cleaner than hyssop.
You twinkled,
Wanna share?
I grinned.
